Have you been feeling stressed by work and feeling “zoned out” when you’re at home?

Are you feeling unfulfilled in your work or in your relationships?

Are you a busy mom who is feeling burnt out and in need of some “me” time?

You’ve been busy creating a good life for yourself, but you never imagined that it would take so much out of you.  So far success has not led to a fully happy life, but one that has you dragging.

As a result you are feeling:

  •  Distant from your spouse.

  •  Like you are not doing a good job as a parent.

  •   Like you don’t recognize yourself after having a baby

  •  Worried that you aren’t doing things right.

  • Guilty about needing some alone time.

Whatever it is that has you feeling down, just know that you don’t have to face it alone.  Let me be your partner in finding your path back to that life you imagined, but without all the overwhelm.

I believe you don’t have to settle for how things are in your relationships and in life right now.  Life doesn’t have to happen to you.

These days, life seems to be moving at a blazing speed and people don’t have the time to take in the world around them or to connect with those in their lives. You can be an active participant in creating the life you deserve.

You’ve come to the right place

You’ve tried seeking advice from your friends and family, but they don’t understand what you’re going through because they don’t know what it’s like to go to college, or start a business, or be the only person of your cultural background in your role at work.

At times, it feels like you can’t go to those you're closest to because they see you as the one that has it all together and you don’t want them to know that you’re falling apart.  Perhaps you tried therapy before but it felt too formal or you felt like for some reason your therapist didn’t get it either.  Maybe you haven’t tried anything at all because you don’t know where to start.  It’s okay.

You’re here now, and I am here to help you figure it out.

What it's like to work with me

We can work together to identify what you ultimately want out of life, what that looks like, and to find a way to make it a reality.  I will provide a space for you to be yourself, with all your imperfections, without feeling judged.   I will provide time for you to slow down for a while, talk about anything that is on your mind, and to make sense of how you ended up here.

You will be able to sense that I genuinely care, and I truly hear and see you. I can help you develop the skills needed to live a productive yet meaningful life that you can appreciate and enjoy.

My Story

I’m a female, Hispanic Therapist. I’ve worked since a young age to put myself through school.  I am the first in my large extended family to graduate from college, and had my first child while earning my doctorate, completing an internship, and working.

All this to say that I understand what it’s like to sacrifice so much to be able to give your kids a better life than you had growing up. I know first hand what it’s like to work so hard to get ahead in life and to not let anything hold you back. And yes, my relationships with my spouse and children have paid the price along the way. But thanks to individual and couples therapy, I’m in a better place personally and professionally.  I started my therapy business so I can live life on my terms, do fulfilling work, and enjoy life with my loved ones. And I can help you do the same.
